After viewing the Morning Parade Carousel music video, I looked a little into how the band formed. It turns out that they have been a group for about five years. Two of the members, Steve and Phil, were introduced to each other when they were attending school. They also got to know another member, Chad, when they were all at university. Initially, they were part of a band known as Anotherstory. Steve sang, Phil played the bass, and Chad was on guitars. They had a single called “Traffic,” but they broke up in 2007.
Steve eventually got to know Andy and Ben, two other guys who had prior experience with the music scene. The five guys formed their band, and for awhile, they simply took their time creating songs. After they began performing, a record label wanted to sign them; however, the guys turned the label down because they felt they needed more time. They finally did sign in 2010.
